Two Bean Sausage Rice Soup
1 cup Jacob’s Cattle beans
1 cup Jacob’s Cattle Gold beans
1 lb. pork sausage
8 cups water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 cup rice
2 bay leaves
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
salt to taste
Soak
and cook beans in water until fork tender. Brown sausage while beans
are cooking. Drain and rinse beans. Combine all ingredients and cook for
30-45 minutes longer.
That sounds delicious! I'll have to try that.
